The moon was laughing at me
Laughing at my youth
Laughing at my dramatic look to the sky
Why?

I was indeed being a fool
And if I were the moon I’d be laughing too
For I believe that what we had was special
It was the closest thing of love

You cared
You cared so much
Or at least pretended very well

So I looked at the moon
To search for a signal
To imagine you across the ocean
Looking at the same moon
And thinking about some young girl you met on the internet

And every time I feel alone
my thoughts come to you
And every time loneliness says “hey”
You say “how are you”

And I’m a fool
Because if you opened your life for me I’d move to your heart without thinking twice.

But Me and the Moon know that this won’t happen.
So I light a cigarette
I smile next to the moon
And I pretend that
you aren’t killing me from the inside
like my cigarette

And I laugh next to the moon for we both agree
I am a fool for you.

tales-of-a-late-person

As I was running late for my german class, I didn’t want to be that late, but I had already missed my usual bus, so I took another one, to go to a place where I would take another bus to my final destination.

I finally took the other bus, and to my odds, we were facing the most terrible traffic that time. Sleepy and bored, I heard some couple discussing about our city (by the way, I am currently living in Brazil, where taking a bus is not the most pleasuring thing to do). The couple was around their senior years and another elderly lady was sitting behind them.

The old man started complaining about the city, and as a ‘good patriot’, the lady behind him started defending it and asking him to leave if he was not satisfied. She then moved to another chair pand started complaining out loud about him.

I liked the way he handled her, very respectful, he was saying no more than the truth, and I do love Brazil, but I'm not blind to the problems that we have. He said that we were so behind in so many aspects and the old lady simply called him bad names.

I was totally #TeamOldMan, and when he was about to leave the bus, he started saying stuff like “We are in Brazil but we need to agree we need to improve”. Half the people on the bus started yelling at him and that he should then, probably leave the country.

I thought it was so disrespectful, he was only saying his opinion, that I, being half swiss, agree. And that’s when started the real fun.

He played her game and started saying things right back at her, like “go educate yourself”, “if i want to leave I will, because I'm a citizen of the World, and there’s nothing you can do”.

The other half of the people on the bus were laughing just like me. Because it was so funny and the old man was making fun of her. This was the best thing ever happened to me on a bus. And even thou I was late AF to my class, I could leave the bus with a big smile on my face, something that is not usual.

Maybe it’s not such a bad thing being late when something as precious as this happens.
